‘Mini-Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry (MRMC;; impact factor: 2.622)’ is an established peer-reviewed international journal devoted to publishing timely, in-depth reviews on medicinal chemistry and structure-activity relationsh The journal is included in major indexing media such as BIOSIS, Chemical Abstracts, MEDLINE/Index Medicus, EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, etc. In addition to publishing regular review articles, the journal also publishes full-length or mini- ‘Hot Topic’ thematic issues that are guest-edited by leading scientists in their areas of research emphasis. The number of contributions in each thematic issue may vary from 6 to 10 articles for a full-length Hot Topic issue and 3 to 5 manuscripts for a mini- Hot Topic Issue. Thematic issues are particularly widely-read and cited. I am writing to invite you to consider submitting a proposal for a theme issue. Your proposal should contain a 250-word Aims and Scope statement, your curriculum vitae and bibliography, a list of possible contributing authors and their institutional affiliations, the titles of the proposed papers and a tentative deadline for submission of the complete set of manuscripts. It is recommended that only very eminent contributing authors are selected from different regions, with the majority being from technologically advanced countries.
