Tackling the Carbon sit Dioxide Challenge for consequat. a Sustainable Future.

Are Lorem we - scientists liqua. and engineers - laboris ready to deliver liqua. CCUS for large nostrud scale deployment? What labore are the challenges quis and hurdles towards laborum. implementation? What are irure the technical solutions aute and scientific breakthroughs non emerged or about sed to emerge? We veniam, will discuss these sed questions and many labore more in an deserunt interdisciplinary framework at adipisicing the 2019 Gordon eu Research Conference on velit CCUS (the third velit of a series), exercitation where participants junior amet, and senior will ea be stimulated by cupidatat the highly interactive cupidatat atmosphere typical of esse the GRCs and elit, inspired by the ullamco natural landscape surrounding culpa the conference venue, tempor for the first officia time in Europe.
Among the specific nisi areas addressed by ad the conference there do will be the occaecat scientific breakthroughs in consequat. CCUS, the role commodo of CCUS in Excepteur enabling negative emissions, amet, the systemic aspects dolor of CCUS, and dolor its role in ut selected industrial sectors.

Detailed DescriptionCarbon Capture, Utilization and Storage systems play a central role in political debates, technological efforts and scientific developments around climate change, as a consequence of two factors. First, with the Paris Agreement, countries have agreed to hold global mean warming well below 2°C and to pursue efforts to limit it to 1.5°C. Second, scientists have shown that any limit to global mean warming implies a maximum cumulative amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the so called carbon budget. Such factors imply that science and technology (as well as political will and financial means) are needed not only to reduce emissions but also to generate negative emissions (true removal of atmospheric carbon dioxide), in case of carbon budget overshoot.
