16. Day of Life Sciences at ZHAW 2025

The 16th Day of Life Sciences is all about chemistry as the institute is celebrating a special anniversary this year: 150 years of chemistry at the ZHAW.

It began in 1875 at the former Technikum Winterthur as a “School for Chemists”.
Today the institute is a modern training and research center that trains chemists with a practical orientation and uses applied research to develop innovative and sustainable solutions with our project partners.

On the Day of Life Sciences, we will take you on a journey through 150 years of chemistry and show you the breadth of our activities based on our key research areas.

Costs
No participation fees, all participants are invited by ZHAW and sponsoring partners
