«A networking event co-organized by Bachem and Swiss Women in Chemistry»

Join us at Bachem for an exciting afternoon of lab tours, roundtable discussions, an aperitif, and networking, in collaboration with Swiss Women in Chemistry. 

Roundtable discussions will explore diverse career and scientific pathways in the field of chemistry - from CMC concepts and transitions from bench to business, to current trends in peptide therapeutics and strategies for effective personal branding. In addition, lab tours to visit the labs at Bachem are offered. After the event, you have the chance to exchange with other participants and Bachem colleagues during an apéro.

We offer 4 different round table discussions and 2 different lab/plant tours. You have the opportunity to attend max. 2 round table discussions and a lab tour, 3 round table discussions without a lab tour or 1 round table discussion and 2 lab tours.

Priorities for the lab tour and the round table discussion
For the round table options, please indicate your first, second and third choice during the registration process. Also indicate whether you'd like to attend a lab tour or not.

Registration
The event is open to all genders. Please note that registration will be limited to a maximum number of 80 participants due to space restrictions. Registration is mandatory.
Registration deadline is March 6, 2026.

Dress Code: If you attend a lab/plant tour, please wear: closed shoes, long trousers, no high heels, etc.
Please Note: Due to explosion protection requirements, cell phones are not permitted inside the production facilities. You may safely store them in the meeting room during your tour.
Please read the mandatory safety document before you arrive.
Pictures: Please note that pictures will be taken during the event.
Cancellation Notice: If you are unable to attend, please let us know in advance, so we can open the spot for participants on the waiting list.

If you arrive by car: you can park in Parking P in any available space and check-in at the visitor reception, building H.
If you arrive by bus: get off at the Bubendorf Industrie stop and check-in at the visitor reception, building H.
