The JCFs of Giessen, Frankfurt, and Marburg are delighted to invite you to the Justus-Liebig University and the city of Giessen!
Giessen is the first and main place of activity of Justus Liebig as a professor and thus one of the birthplaces of modern chemistry. He did not only conduct groundbreaking research but was also known for innovative and outstanding teaching. While he taught various top-rated scientists spreading around the world, we now come together at this place following the motto "Chemistry is Coming Home".
Excellent plenary lectures will be surrounded by a diverse program including short talks and poster sessions of young scientists, workshops, and of course the conference dinner as well as a variety of social activities, including a visit to the Liebig Museum, Justus Liebig's former and exceptionally well-preserved laboratory, which can be considered a blueprint of modern laboratory architectures.
