Green Chemistry x NCCR Catalysis Symposium: Towards sustainable chemistry

Join us to celebrate Green Chemistry’s 25^th Anniversary at ETH Zurich, hosted by Prof. Javier Pérez-Ramírez and Prof. André Bardow.

In 2024, Green Chemistry celebrates its 25th anniversary. On this occasion, members of the Editorial Board are holding symposia worldwide for their local communities.

At ETH Zürich, Prof. Javier Pérez-Ramírez, Editorial Board Chair and Director of NCCR Catalysis, together with Prof. André Bardow, Editorial Board Member and NCCR Catalysis PI, will host a Symposium on 30 May 2024.

The event will take place in-person at ETH Hönggerberg and be streamed for all online. We particularly encourage students to attend in-person as we look towards the future of sustainable chemistry.

We are excited to have keynote presentations from the following speakers:

• Prof. Walter Leitner, Director of the Department of Molecular Catalysis at Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion as well as Former Editorial Board Chair and current Advisory Board Member of Green Chemistry.
• Dr. Maud Reiter, Head of Discovery Chemistry & Development at dsm-firmenich and Nicolas Habisreutinger, LCA and Sustainability Manager at dsm-firmenich.
• Prof. Rebecca Buller, Head of Competence Center for Biocatalysis at ZHAW and NCCR Catalysis Work Package Coordinator.
• Prof. Gonzalo Guillén-Gosálbez, Professor of Chemical Systems Engineering at ETH Zürich and NCCR Catalysis Work Package Coordinator.
