Summer School on catalysis and sustainability in organic synthesis jointly organized with the NCCR Catalysis.
This edition of the Summer Schools on Trends in Organic Synthesis is focused on catalysis and sustainability, with input lectures by experts from academia and industry, poster sessions, student presentations, and guest-lectures on topics of general interest.
The team of Summer School Lecturers is built from experts in different areas of catalysis and sustainability, representing different academic institutions (Caltech, Princeton, Ben Gurion University, the University of Bern, and ETH Zürich). In addition, lectures presented by researchers from Syngenta, Siegfried, Merck Sigma Aldrich, Novartis and IBM Research will illustrate the importance of synthesis, catalysis and sustainability in industry.
Scientific Committee and Chairs:
- Prof. Bill Morandi, ETH Zürich
- Prof. Jérôme Waser, EPFL Lausanne
- Dr. Marie Francine Lagadec, NCCR Catalysis
- Dr. Hans Peter Lüthi, SCS Foundation
