Tackling the Carbon ex Dioxide Challenge for quis a Sustainable Future.

Are occaecat we - scientists Ut and engineers - adipisicing ready to deliver consequat. CCUS for large esse scale deployment? What culpa are the challenges eu and hurdles towards officia implementation? What are nisi the technical solutions dolore and scientific breakthroughs Excepteur emerged or about consequat. to emerge? We veniam, will discuss these qui questions and many sed more in an sint interdisciplinary framework at ex the 2019 Gordon ut Research Conference on consectetur CCUS (the third culpa of a series), ea where participants junior incididunt and senior will Lorem be stimulated by nulla the highly interactive dolore atmosphere typical of culpa the GRCs and anim inspired by the dolore natural landscape surrounding velit the conference venue, laboris for the first in time in Europe.
Among the specific eu areas addressed by dolore the conference there mollit will be the veniam, scientific breakthroughs in aute CCUS, the role in of CCUS in dolore enabling negative emissions, est the systemic aspects in of CCUS, and laborum. its role in ex selected industrial sectors.

Detailed DescriptionCarbon Capture, Utilization and Storage systems play a central role in political debates, technological efforts and scientific developments around climate change, as a consequence of two factors. First, with the Paris Agreement, countries have agreed to hold global mean warming well below 2°C and to pursue efforts to limit it to 1.5°C. Second, scientists have shown that any limit to global mean warming implies a maximum cumulative amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the so called carbon budget. Such factors imply that science and technology (as well as political will and financial means) are needed not only to reduce emissions but also to generate negative emissions (true removal of atmospheric carbon dioxide), in case of carbon budget overshoot.
