EuCheMS Annual Report 2013
EuCheMS published its annual report 2013. In addition to reporting what EuCheMS did in the past year and what projects are ongoing, it is also supposed to be an up-to-date reference on contact persons both in the EuCheMS bodies and the member societies.

ILMAC Lounges 2014: neuer Community- Treffpunkt für die Life Sciences Industrie
Die ILMAC Lounges beschreiten in der Schweiz Neuland und kombiniert mehrere Präsentationsmöglichkeiten auf einer einzigen Plattform. Sie folgen dem erfolgreichen Veranstaltungskonzept der Lounges aus Karlsruhe (ab 2014 Stuttgart) welche bereits seit sieben Jahren durch die Firma inspire GmbH organisiert wird. Die ersten ILMAC Lounges finden vom 23. bis 25. September 2014 in der Messe Basel statt.
Die Schweiz erhält 2014 eine Veranstaltung, die sich gezielt auf die Bedürfnisse des Standortes Schweiz einstellt. Vom 23 bis zum 25. September 2014 veranstaltet die MCH Messe Basel die ILMAC Lounges nach dem bewährten und erfolgreichen Konzept wie es die LOUNGES und die VISION PHARMA bereits eindrucksvoll vorführen.
Neues Veranstaltungsformat
Bei diesem neuen Schweizer Community-Treffpunkt werden die Themen Pharma, Reinraum, Lebensmitteltechnologie, Biotechnologie und Labortechnologie im Zentrum stehen. Die Themen der Vorträge sowie die Vorführungen werden dabei klar durch die Anforderungen der Schweizer Life-Sciences-Hersteller geprägt.
Die ILMAC Lounges sehen ihre Aufgaben vor allem im Bereich Networking und Wissensvermittlung und ergänzen damit die ILMAC, die weiterhin alle 3 Jahre als klassische Fachmesse stattfindet als Community-Plattform.
Die Lounges, verstehen sich als innovative und zukunftsweisende Life Science-Plattform. Die Veranstaltung ist seit Jahren ein erfolgreicher Mix aus Ausstellung, Fachvorträgen und Produktpräsentationen.

BOS2014 highlights talks on organic chemistry by a mix of academic and industrial chemists in Vilnius, Lithuania, including the 2010 Nobel Prize winner Prof Ei-ichi Negishi .
Attendance is limited to enable all participants to interact in an intimate setting including an opening reception and conference banquet. Topics typically include total syntheses, methodology, pharmaceutical chemistry, catalytic chemistry and other related topics. The conference series rotates between the capitals of the Baltic States and has a large percent of students and Baltic scientist participants.
