Open Post-Doc Positions in Switzerland
IFP-MUST
Driven by this profound belief, we established an International Fellowship Program on Molecular Ultrafast Science and Technology (IFP-MUST) integrated in and fed by the Swiss national network of research teams to provide an ideal environment for high-level postdoctoral research projects.
The IFP-MUST Postdoctoral program is a new national program that aims at increasing the European-wide mobility possibilities for training and career development of experienced researchers, in line with the objectives set out in the activity heading “Life-long training and career development”, of the Marie Curie work program. The aim is to broaden and deepen researcher’s individual competence shortly after having obtained a PhD, in particular in terms of acquisition of multi- or interdisciplinary skills and intersectoral experiences. The program will further help to reintegrate researchers into a research career in the Member States and Associated countries after a mobility experience.
Different research groups in Switzerland are involved as a potential host institution. The candidate has to contact directly the group of interest to enquire on the availability to support the proposed research project or on the possible research topics offered by the host institution.

Review Fall Meeting 2012
With more than 600 scientific contributions and about 800 participants the SCS Fall Meeting 2012 took place at ETH Zurich on September 13.
The program started with the award ceremonies of the Dr. Max Lüthi Award that was given to Lucie Sägesser from ZHAW and the Grammaticakis-Neumann Price that was awarded to Hans Jakob Wörner from ETH Zurich, followed by the first part of the parallel session.
After lunch and a 2 hours poster session the SCS General Assembly was held before the second part of the parallel sessions took place.
The day ended with the highlights of the Paracelsus ceremony and it's lecture that honored Prof. Bernd Giese from University of Fribourg and Basel and the awards for the best oral and best poster presentations.
The Swiss Chemical Society likes to thank to all participants, the invited lectures, the exhibitors, the financial sponsors and the organizing committee for this very interesting congress.More information:
