Patenting in Life Sciences & Chemistry 2025 (Workshop for PhD and Postdocs)

The 'Patenting Workshop 2025' is a hands-on workshop for researchers in life sciences & chemistry and the program is specially built for PhDs students and Postdocs.

Course Content
The course consists of a series of lectures + 4 workshop on intellectual property protection and patent law, challenges related to intellectual property in an academic environment and in a spin-off company and ethical considerations will be considered.

Main objective
Give to participants master basic knowledge in intellectual property to answer the following questions: How does patenting in life sciences affect – my career? – academic research? – the society?

Fees
- 400 CHF double room
