SCS Seminar 2018/1: «Catalysis Across Scales»

This seminar will present the field of catalysis in its entirety, i.e., from active site design to industrial process implementation. Later editions of the seminar will focus on specific topics.

Start Date 13.06.2018 - 11:00
Event End 15.06.2018 - 14:30
Location City Hotel Oberland
Website

With these events, we aim to bring together the next generation of scientists in the field of heterogeneous, homogeneous, and bio- catalysis.
The first edition of the seminar series will comprise a unique program, covering three thematic sessions which embrace the following topics:
- Transformation of small molecules to key intermediates
- Conversion of renewables
- Synthesis of complex molecules and materials

Catalysis Across Scales will embrace heterogeneous, homogeneous, and bio- catalysis and cover all stages of catalyst development from active site design to industrial process implementation. See Program for more details.

The body of instructors comprises thirteen experts, six of them from industry.
