From Bench to Business: Insights, Innovation & Community
«A networking event co-organized by Bachem and Swiss Women in Chemistry»

Join us at Bachem for an exciting afternoon of lab tours, roundtable discussions, an aperitif, and networking, in collaboration with Swiss Women in Chemistry. 

The goal of this two-day conference series is to stimulate a stronger interaction among persons working in different areas of analytical sciences. Scientists from applied and fundamental research, from industry, education, and regulation are welcome.

The visit will offer a great opportunity to gain insights into how EMS Chemie operates, discover industrial and scientific career paths, and interact directly with professionals working at the interface of chemistry, manufacturing, and innovation.

The ‘SCS Conference on Stereochemistry’, better known as ‘Bürgenstock Conference’, is an outstanding international chemistry meeting of high scientific quality, with an optimal setting for intense interdisciplinary discussion.

Local groups of the youngSCS organize events to foster better exchange between students and young PIs. This is the 4^th edition of the BeNeFri Student Spring Symposium and will take place at the University of Bern.

This workshop brings together researchers from artificial intelligence, molecular simulation, and experimental science to explore how data-driven methods are reshaping drug discovery, environmental health, and global sustainability. 

The event provides an innovative platform to exchange on the various aspects of drug development with a focus on peptides.

The SCS Seminars are three-days educational event with a focus on topics relevant for the Swiss chemical and pharmaceutical industry but that are not necessarily part of the academic curricula. 

The symposium is an initiative of the Photochemistry Section of the Swiss Chemical Society to promote the exchange within the photochemistry community in Switzerland and beyond.

Company visit of Bachem AG in Bubendorf and Member Assembly of the Division of Industrial & Applied Chemistry (DIAC). Registration is mandatory.

In this focused 4-day summer school, you will learn how to turn complex science into clear, striking, and scientifically rigorous visuals. We will teach you how to convey your message so it is received effortlessly — what catches attention, how to guide the viewer’s eye, and how to design figures, slides, and posters that draw people in and are understood instantly.

This event will offer lectures providing a comprehensive scientific and technological perspective of the nanocrystal field and will foster interaction between early-career researchers and renowned scientists.

This International Summer School aims at providing an overview about state-of-the-art approaches and concepts tackling contemporary challenges which are associated with the decarbonization and defossiliation of the chemistry sector.
