SCS Mentoring Program: An excellent start to the activities in Basel!
On Thursday, 5th of October we had the first event of the program. There, we had an opportunity not only to get to know the mentors of the program but also to build connections afterward in a great atmosphere of the FHNW rooftop lounge.
Can’t wait for the next event!
Stay tuned! 🤩
Approach
Four regional clusters, each consisting of a managing team, mentors and mentees, will be established. Each cluster will define the activities, one per semester, at its “kick off meeting”. At the end of the year, the cluster will meet for a closing event.

SCS Mentoring Program: amazing Kickoff for the BeNeFri Cluster
Excitingly, on the 13.10.2023, the first event of the SCS Mentoring Program for the BeNeFri Cluster was held in the Chemistry Department of the University of Fribourg.
Around some snacks and a good glass of wine, mentors and mentees got to know each other and had the chance to express their thoughts and their expectations about the program and which topics the mentees would like to discuss in the next sessions. We're looking forward to the next BeNeFri group event in January 2024 😌😍

SCS mentoring program: The Leman Cluster began its activities as a highly motivated group
The Léman region kicked off its first SCS mentoring program meeting in Geneva on Friday, October 13th! The event saw a fantastic turnout with 14 mentees and 3 dedicated mentors. Following a quick round of introductions, we enjoyed some delightful drinks and snacks and then dove into an ice-breaking game, where participants were divided into three groups, each led by a mentor, for engaging question-and-answer sessions.
The evening concluded with some fantastic photo moments!

SCS Mentoring Program: Exciting Beginnings in Zurich!

🌟Our mentoring program is officially underway, and the kickoff in Zurich was nothing short of amazing!🚀We had the privilege of bringing together 16 enthusiastic mentees and 8 mentors, all ready to embark on a transformative journey.🤝
Here's a glimpse of our fantastic day:
🎮️ We started with some thrilling ice-breaking games that got everyone mingling and laughing.
📌 Then, we formed teams of 4-6 to create inspiring mood boards about mentoring. 🖼️It was incredible to see the creative visions our teams came up with.
💪 A personality test followed, helping us discover our unique strengths and talents. Self-discovery is the first step towards growth!
🔍️The highlight of the day was our group activity, where we delved deep into defining our "Ikigai" – our sense of purpose and passion in life.🤔💖
🥂 And, of course, we wrapped up the day with a delightful Apero, sharing stories and forging connections that will last a lifetime.🍹
Stay tuned for more updates on our mentoring journey in Switzerland!🌐🌆
