Advanced Materials for Industrial Leadership

State of play of the implementation of the strategy announced by the EC, with a particular focus on the role of the IAM4EU partnership

Published by the European Commission on 27 February 2024, the Communication on ‘Advanced Materials for Industrial Leadership’ is acting the establishment of a dynamic, secure and inclusive materials ecosystem in Europe that ensures leadership in research and fast-tracks innovations to market whilst ensuring sustainability and protection of human health and the environment.

As IAM4EU stakeholders, you are invited to learn more about the state of implementation of the strategy, which consists of 14 different actions along 5 main pillars, with a particular focus on the key role devoted to the IAM4EU Partnership and the expected contributions from Industry.

More information will also be shared on the setting-up of the Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative (IAM-I), the association open to newcomers that will operate the IAM4EU Partnership in collaboration with the EC.
