Relevant areas of basic science include spectroscopy, calorimetry, potentiometry, thermo-physical property measurements and modeling also molecular simulation studies of water and solvated species in high-temperature and sub-cooled water.

The school is addressed to all CRYSTAL's users, senior researchers and scientists with a good background in solid state chemistry and physics, who can take advantage of the two codes for their applications.

All papers of ICMCE 2013 will be published in the Applied Mechanics and Materials Journal (ISSN: 1660-9336).

On behalf of the organising committee, we are delighted to welcome you to Caparica, Portugal, for the I International Symposium on Profiling, ISPROF 2013.

Traditionally, INCOREP focuses on the use of reaction engineering concepts in the production of polyolefins.

The next annual meeting will be organised already for the third time together with our Austrian colleagues. It will take place from September 3-6, 2013 at the Johannes Kepler-University in Linz.

This significant event will bring together exceptional researchers for an outstanding plenary programme exploring the themes of photovoltaics, solar fuels, new battery materials, fuel cells and molecular catalysis.

The ESOR Symposia are dedicated to fundamental research in organic chemistry and related areas, emphasizing the understanding of reactions (e.g., mechanisms, energetics) as well as the structures of compounds and materials. Experimental as well as theoretical contributions are welcomed with a particular preference for multidisciplinary approaches.

Thermodynamics is the cornerstone for many scientific and engineering disciplines including physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering and materials science. It provides the basis for the design and optimization of new sustainable industrial processes and the development of advanced materials and products.

It is the aim of the conference to cover both technological and non-technological topics. Academic and industrial research on these topics is the key to advancing the chemical industry sector and it’s sustainability for years to come.
