The Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin Symposium (DCH Symposium) welcomes researchers from all branches of technical science high level scientific presentations and a large number of contributed posters. The Interdisciplinary Symposium is being developed to recognize the unassuming yet enduring efforts of Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin as a founder of the science of protein crystallography, Fellow of the Royal Society (1947), and recipient of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (1964) for her solution of vitamin B-12.

Nanotechnology and its applications in medicine have a promising potential to improve diagnosis, prevention and treatment of multiple diseases. It is a relatively new field of applied research, but rapidly expanding and increasingly reaching clinical research status. 

This intensive course is intended for scientists working in the field, and the presentations will be given by senior scientists from industry and academia. The number of participants is limited to 35, to allow in depth discussion.
