SCS Spring Meeting 2024: «Frontiers in Homogenous Catalysis»
The Swiss Chemical Society Spring Meeting is a one-day symposium and provides a high-quality program with national and international speakers on a certain topic. The topic of the 2024 symposium is «Frontiers in Homogenous Catalysis».
Start Date 07.06.2024 - 09:00
Event End 07.06.2024 - 17:30
Location Biozentrum, Lecture Hall U1.131
University of Basel, Spitalstrasse 41, 4056 Basel

Homogeneous catalysis is a cornerstone of modern chemistry, enabling the creation  of complex molecules with remarkable control and efficiency. It serves as the silent driving force behind numerous industrial processes and is essential for today’s production of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals that shape our modern world.

This meeting aims to spotlight novel developments in the realm of homogeneous catalysis by convening leading experts from this field. They will present their findings on a wide spectrum of subjects, encompassing late-stage functionalization, photocatalysis, and catalytically active oscillators.
