We have an opening for the position of Professor of Sustainable Chemistry at University College Cork in Ireland (see below). This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to establish a leading group in sustainable chemistry/materials in Ireland. Would it be possible for you to bring this to the attention of potentially interested colleagues within the Suschem/Cefic network? Any assistance would be appreciated.

University College Cork wishes to appoint an experienced academic to the role of Professor of Sustainable Chemistry within the School of Chemistry (https://www.ucc.ie/en/chemistry/) and the Environmental Research Institute (https://www.ucc.ie/en/eri). Reporting to the Head of Chemistry, the successful candidate will contribute to the teaching activities in Physical Chemistry, and related areas, as well as the research strategy of the School and the ERI. The successful candidate will be expected to fit directly into the ‘sustainable materials’ research pillar within the Environmental Research Institute and develop research programmes in this area
