On April 8th, the next event of the Basel Cluster of the SCS Mentoring Program took place, which was a company visit at dsm-firmenich in Kaiseraugst.
Principal Scientist Jonathan Medlock from DSM-Firmenich welcomed us at the company and gave a general presentation about DSM-Firmenich, where we could learn what the company is all about. Together with his colleagues, who all have chemistry backgrounds, we were shown their career paths and their current positions at the company.👩🔬👨🔬 Afterwards, we had a guided tour through the different laboratories of the company.
