Exciting news! 🎉 The first kick-off of a regional cluster for the 2nd edition of the SCS Mentoring Program was held on Friday, September 20th at the Pavillon Vert in the botanical garden of the University of Fribourg.
The event started with a round of introductions. We then discussed the expectations and topics of the participants and mentors to incorporate these into the program. Then we looked at a self-assessment done by the mentees, in which they evaluate their skills, values and interests and get them matched with different career paths. We looked into the differences between expectation and real outcome and whether it matched or not. Also, we discussed if there were any surprises in the outcomes. At the end of the day we had the pleasure to enjoy and apéro together and get to know each other. We are looking forward to the next events and what this years program will still hold for us!Â
