This five-day Medicinal Chemistry School that is organized by the Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology of the SCSy will focus on most modern aspects associated with small molecule drug discovery.

This symposium brings together world-experts in the field, who will provide an overview on the status quo of AI in chemical research and an outlook where it is heading to. K?

The SICS is a new, one-day symposium with lectures, short talks and a panel discussions of industrial chemists working in R&D in Switzerland. The symposium offers a unique platform for industrial scientists, working in research and process research, to present their latest results.

The 36th meeting of the SGMS will take place at the Dorint Resort Blüemlisalp Beatenberg, 25-26 October 2018 high above Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland, with a scenic view of the Swiss Alps!

The 17^th edition of this traditional symposium will be hold once more in Saas-Fee and provides a innovative platform for young chemists to present their work and to exchange their experience.

Target Audience:
Computational scientists and interested members of the academic and industrial chemistry community.

The topic of the 2019 edition of the SCS Spring Meeting  is «Novel Pathways in Materials Science» and the event takes place in the Empa-Akadmie.

The goal of this two-days symposium is to stimulate a stronger cooperation among persons working in different areas of analytical sciences. Scientists from applied and fundamental research, from industry, education, and regulation are welcome. 

The Symposium addresses the Station’s international scientific role and also its remarkable historic background through the example of Max Perutz (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1962) and his early research work on this high alpine Research Station.

The ‘SCS Conference on Stereochemistry’, better known as ‘Bürgenstock Conference’, is an outstanding international chemistry meeting of high scientific quality, with an optimal setting for intense inter-disciplinary discussion.

The objective of this biennial conference is to regularly provide our members and other interested chemists working in process development and production with opportunities for professional training and networking.
Topic of this years symposium: «Industrial Application of Catalysis - Time for new Approaches»

The program includes seven expert talks in the field of non-noble metal catalysis including Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and also provides a platform for younger scientists to present their research as poster presentation.

This one-day symposium is an initiative of the Photochemistry Section of the Swiss Chemical Society to promote the exchange within the photochemistry community in Switzerland and beyond. 

The Swiss Summer Schools, also referred to as Villars Summer Schools, are one-week out-of-town course/conference-type events for MSc, PhD and postdoctoral students with a focus on selected topics.

The SCS Fall Meeting offers a unique opportunity for all members of the community to share the results of their research initiatives. It also stimulates the exchange of ideas between all generations of chemists, often creating the seeds for new projects and collaborations.
