The 33rd meeting of the SGMS will be held at the   Dorint Resort Blüemlisalp Beatenberg, October 29-30, 2015 high above Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland, with a scenic view of the Swiss Alps!

The SCS Spring Meeting is a one day symposium and provides a high quality program with national and international speakers of a certain topic. It is also the platform for the Werner Price Ceremony and the Werner Award Lecture.

The conference will again be interdisciplinary, covering many areas of chemistry in its main body, but allowing also highlights from neighboring disciplines, with due focus on structural and mechanistic aspects in all contributions.

This free event is gathering five globally renowed international experts in the field that will showcase the importance of this topic in drug discovery.

The event will provide ideas and best practice in theoretical, practical and experimental chemical education and targets qualified teachers from secondary school on upwards. 

The Fall Meeting represents a major event for chemical research in Switzerland. The 2016 Fall Meeting is hosted by the ETH Zürich and University of Zürich Departments of Chemistry.

ILMAC is the biggest fair in Switzerland covering laboratory and process technologies. 450 exhibitors and more than 12'000 visitors are expected. With its user focus, ILMAC is aimed at specialists from the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, drinks, cosmetics and biotechnology industries.

In the framework of the Basel Life Science Week & MipTec Exhibition 2016, the two days “Peptide Therapeutics Forum 2016” focus on “early peptide discovery” and “development candidates for therapeutic peptides”.

This five-day Medicinal Chemistry School, that is organized by the Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology of the SCS, will focus on most modern aspects associated with small molecule drug discovery.

The SICS is a new, one day symposium with lectures, short talks and a panel discussion of industrial chemists working in R&D in Switzerland. The symposium offers a unique platform for industrial scientists, working in research and process research, to present their latest results.

The goal is to stimulate a stronger cooperation among persons working in the different areas of analytical sciences. In addition to lectures and discussions, an informal evening session is scheduled for networking and building new contacts across scientific boarders.
