SCS events

The forum will highlight important new insights regarding the drug discovery of peptides including examples for successful development. The first day is dedicated to topics to be addressed more early during peptide optimization, and the second day more on issues related to later-stage development. 

As a user-oriented trade fair, ILMAC is geared to experts in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biotechnology, food, drinks, cosmetics and others. ILMAC is still of particularly manageable proportions (it can be visited in a single day), is close to hand and depicts the Swiss market in its entirety.

This symposium is an opportunity to strengthen the link between chemical industries and academic laboratory. It takes place every other year and each issue focus on a special topic. The 2019 edition will focus on radical chemistry.

The 37th meeting of the SGMS will take place at the Dorint Resort Blüemlisalp Beatenberg, 24-25 October 2019 high above Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland, with a scenic view of the Swiss Alps! The meeting will be preceeded by the 2 SGMS School on Ion Mobility: Fundamentals and Applications

The 18^th edition of this traditional symposium will be hold once more in Saas-Fee and provides a innovative platform for young chemists to present their work and to exchange their experience.

1-day symposium organized by the SCS Division of Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology in collaboration with the British colleagues from BMCS of the RSC.

Target Audience:
Computational scientists and interested members of the academic and industrial chemistry community.

Due to the restrictions related to the Corona Virus, the assembly is cancelled and shifted to Fall 2020 respectively. We will inform about the alternative option in due time.

In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 and to protect the health of our community members, we decided to postpone the SCS Spring Meeting by one year to April 15, 2021.  

The ‘SCS Conference on Stereochemistry’, better known as ‘Bürgenstock Conference’, is an outstanding international chemistry meeting of high scientific quality, with an optimal setting for intense inter-disciplinary discussion.

In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 and to protect the health of our community members, we decided to cancel the CHanalysis 2020. However, we plan to continue the series of CHanalysis with the next event in spring 2021. 

Due to COVID-19 the event is rescheduled and will take place in May/June 2021.

This half-day symposium is an initiative of the Photochemistry Section of the Swiss Chemical Society to promote the exchange within the photochemistry community in Switzerland and beyond.

The event provides an innovative platform to exchange on the various aspects of drug development with a focus on peptides.

The SCS Fall Meeting is one of the largest annual research conferences held in Switzerland. For the first time, the Fall Meeting takes place as an online conference to fulfill the regulations of the government and to facilitate safe exchange of scientific information.
