SCS events

The objective of this biennial conference is to regularly provide our members and other interested chemists working in process development and production with opportunities for professional training and networking.This years topic: «From Reaction to Technology Trends in the Chemical Production»

The 2013 annual spring meeting of the Division of Polymers and Colloids of the Swiss Chemical Society will take place at the University of Basel. Eight invited speakers from academia and industry, as well as a poster session and the distribution of the division’s PhD awards are included.

The Fall Meeting of the SCS is the largest annual event in chemistry in Switzerland where graduate chemistry students, post-docs, and chemists of all levels have the opportunity to present results they have achieved in their research projects.

LMAC, Industry Exhibition for Research and Development, and Environmental and Process Technology in Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals and Biotechnology, will take place at Basel from September 24th to 27th, 2013.

This event on peptides is thought to disseminate information on latest developments in the field of therapeutic peptides and to enable networking of interested parties from academia and industries.

The meeting is being organised jointly by the BMCS of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the DMCCB of the Swiss Chemical Society, together with representatives from Syngenta and Roche on the organising committee.

The goal is to stimulate a stronger cooperation among persons working in the different areas of analytical sciences. In addition to lectures and discussions, an informal evening session is scheduled for networking and building new contacts across scientific boarders.

The ‘EUCHEM Conference on Stereochemistry’, better known as ‘Bürgenstock Conference’, is an outstanding international chemistry meeting of high scientific quality.

This year's annual mini-symposium organized by the Division of Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology of the Swiss Chemical Society is dedicated to the topic of Kinetics and Thermodynamics in Drug Discovery.
